Stable presents:
7th September we host Myciaa (from Limoges, France) along with support from Doncaster's Unicorn Hunters and our bad selves. For a Saturday evening, this is just £3. Which is a Bahrain bargain.

Review The Third
The great Echoes and Dust kindly published a review of Yan Tan Tethera. I for one, very much enjoy being compared to a Satyr. Read the whole thing HERE.

Word
Tuesday sees us playing with Canadian heroes NoMeansNo at the Doghouse in Nottingham, and June sees us head of around a bit in London, Brighton, and some other (as yet not confirmed other places). Check yourselves. And if you have time, check us and give us a wave. We might even give you a Twix, or some Green And Blacks chocolate if you live somewhere posh.
- NoMeansNo at the Doghouse
- Surya, London
Thanks
Thanks to all the bands and people who got in touch about Tramlines. We've made our list and we should be contacting everyone soon about it. Also, If you're in Sheffield today, come and see us at Portland Works.

So
Double you tea eff are we doing then?
Well, people are both tactile and visual and in order to placate those desires we may well film something. And that something will more than likely have a soundtrack based on a song of ours. A shorter way of saying that might be to say: we will do a video, OK?
Plans are afoot for jaunts southward - a stronghold of the funky, and a place where fixed-geared bicycles are not mocked on grounds of practicality (yes, we have big hills where we are) and where 'real ale' is a lifestyle choice rather than a sentence. No promises though - you gotta stay dangerous.
We spent a while on our ALBUM THAT IS CALLED YAN TAN TETHERA - as you can tell, subtle promotion is difficult - but we have new things we want to throw at a wall like a wet towel. It might stick. If it falls on a radiator, it might ferment.
The north is harsh. The country is demoralised. We don't promise answers unless the question is "Are you them?" to which the answer will be "..."
And as we all know, that is merely morse code inside irony quotes.

The Queen Is Dead
We've had another nice review, this time from the towers of the mighty Collective Zine. Why not give it a read and see if you agree.

Well Thank You...
Our album launch was spectacular and we'd like to thank everyone who came down, did things, didn't do things and generally made it lovely for us.
We're selling the physical copies of the album online through the Stable bandcamp, and we're pretty fast at posting out too. NineHertz were very nice about it too.

We're playing a secret show in a couple of weeks - not even we know where it is, so we hope at some point someone will tell us. I hear we might be on about 1am, so have a coffee or something. It's on the 23rd. Ears to the ground local people.

Getting there
The album is almost complete and we're having a shindig on the 9th of February at Penelopes for the launch. Alongside us, Nottingham noisemakers Alright The Captain will be playing, along with Paw Shaker (from the ashes of Pudge).
So, why not tell your friends, and enjoy a sexy album track:
